The midfielder Deliveries from corners and free kicks caused problems. Was given room to move on the left but was offside when the ball arrived in front of goal. Given a well-earned rest around the 60-minute point. 6/10

The star midfielder Functioned in an advanced spot on the right and also did plenty of defensive duties. Showed moments of class but mishit an attempt over. Substituted in the closing stages for Rogers, his rival, following a yellow card. 7/10

Jarrod Bowen Was presented with the team's best chance in the opening period, his effort excellently kept out by the opposing goalkeeper. As Quansah staying deep, he had to provide width out wide although his balls from wide areas were hit and miss. Taken off for the final quarter-hour. 6/10

Harry Kane The decisive figure netting two more finishes for his country. His first a classic close-range tap-in and his next a superb header following a clever run from his marker. Now 32, he continues to improve with the national team have every chance in future competitions with him leading the line. Eight

Eberechi Eze Struggled to make an impact from the left. Was presented with a decent opportunity following a pass by the midfielder yet Strakosha kept it out. His replacement made much more of an impact after coming on. Five
