Shocking Footage Shows Instant Law Enforcement Are Stabbed in Surprise Attack

Both Sergeants Instants Prior to the Attacker Received Electric Shock

A senior officer who jumped to the assistance of a fellow officer that got attacked by a blade-wielder has been awarded the Monarch's Honor for Valor.

Sgt Tim Ansell grappled with twenty-seven-year-old Jacob Brown following he placed a blade to the throat of his colleague Sergeant Marc Foster.

Brown began the violence as the policemen and their partner, PC Marcus Wolstencroft, were conversing to a motorist after a road collision in the area in mid-2023.

Brown stabbed and slashed both Sgt Ansell and Sgt Foster before Police Constable Wolstencroft stunned him with a electric weapon.

"Officer knifed," the constable was heard to say over his radio.

Bodyworn and dashcam footage made public by the agency revealed Brown, wearing in black with a hood up, approach to Sergeant Foster from the rear with a weapon outstretched.

He struck the policeman who stumbled and went down to the street, after which Sgt Ansell intervened and attempted to subdue him to the pavement although being continually attacked with the knife.

Police Constable Wolstencroft pulled his stun gun and sought a safe opportunity, ending the fight to an finish.

Sgt Ansell was heard stating: "I need something on my neck here, I'm bleeding in the neck."

Sgt Ansell received two open wounds to his throat and more cuts to his arms and torso, while Sgt Foster received cut injuries.

Officials reported Sgt Foster used his bare hands to control his colleague's hemorrhaging before emergency responders came.

The new award comes after the law enforcement team received internal Valor Recognitions in October 2023 and the police federation award from the regional union branch in April 2024.

They were also awarded a Regional Bravery Award in mid-2024.

"The actions of all three officers ultimately saved each other and meant no civilians endured any injuries."

Brown received a sentence to an secure medical confinement in April 2024, per authorities.
