India's Batter Shreyas Iyer Recovering in Medical Facility After Torn Spleen Injury
Indian cricket star Shreyas Iyer experienced a spleen laceration and was admitted to a medical center in Sydney following an awkward fall while attempting a catch during the third one-day international against Australia, according to cricket authorities.

The experienced player injured himself on Saturday while fielding to dismiss Alex Carey, with Iyer holding his abdomen and showing discomfort after falling onto the SCG turf.
Medical examinations showed a tearing wound to the abdominal organ. He is under medical care, in stable condition, and recovering well.
Treatment Process
After receiving immediate medical attention, the batter was unable to continue in the game, which India secured victory by a significant margin. Australia had already won the series with wins in the initial games played in Perth and Adelaide.
